The growing dependency over digital transaction and mobile wallet has seen a significant growth in last one year. One also get good discount, great deal, cashback and reward points. There are large mobile wallet available in the App stores. The the transaction limit on digital wallets being increased to Rs 20,000.
One of the advantage of using these wallets are that they are convenient to use and money can easily be transferred to bank. Mobile wallet uses IMPS and NEFT to transfer the money to the account. There are wallet that charges some convenient fee while some are free.
1.Paytm: This is the most widely used and accepted mobile wallet in India, Money can be loaded using Credit card , Debit card, Net banking and UPI. You can Recharge your postpaid and prepaid mobile bill, book movie ticket, Pay to retailer, Buy digital gold, Electricity bill. The money transferred to bank account through IMPS but you will be charged some fee.
2.Yes pay: The money can be added through UPI, Debit card, Credit card, Net Banking and IMPS. You can create UPI and Virtual card.The app can be used to send and receive money, Pay bill, Recharge Mobile/DTH. The money can also added in the wallet and transferred to bank account after 24 hours of adding them into your wallet. In case of transferring funds to non-yes bank account a 2.5% of transfer amount will be charged.
3. Phone Pe: This is one of my favorite mobile wallet app. Money can be added using UPI and Debit card. You can use the money to pay bill for Insurance/water/landline/Gas/water, Recharge Mobile/DTH/ Datacard/Bradband. One can send and receive or request money. You can also get some amazing deal and offers, The money in the wallet can be transferred to bank account at no cost. The money is transferred instantly.
4.Pockets: Pockets wallet comes with a 16 digit VISA pre-paid card which can be used for shopping online across websites in India. You also have the option of getting a specially designed Pockets physical card that can be used at stores/outlets. The money in the wallet can be transferred to bank account at no cost. The money is transferred from wallet to bank account through NEFT.
5.Citruspay: Citrus Wallet is an app that lets you send money to and receive from anyone who has a phone number or email. The money can be added to wallet through Debit card, Net Bank and Masterpass. The money in the wallet can be transferred to bank account for free through NEFT.
